In a recent interview, Meghan Markle found herself at the center of a rather unflattering conversation among the cast of “The Real Housewives of London.”
While the reality stars were posed a question about potential new cast members, it became quite clear that Meghan wasn’t exactly the hot ticket they had in mind.
Instead, Princess Catherine seemed to win the hearts of the ladies as they shared their preferences.
When Nessie Welschinger threw Meghan’s name into the ring, the reaction was anything but enthusiastic.
“What about Meghan Markle?”
she suggested, hoping for a positive response.
Instead, the stars responded with a collective gasp, signaling their disapproval of the idea right off the bat.
“No…” quickly interjected Amanda Cronin, emphasizing her stance with a firm dismissal.
Juliet Angus echoed the sentiment, bluntly stating, “I don’t want Meghan Markle on our show.”
This certainly wasn’t the warm welcome Meghan might have envisioned.
The mood shifted, however, when Nessie casually mentioned Meghan’s sister-in-law, Nikki, positing, “I think [Princess] Kate would be wonderful.”
As if choreographed, the rest of the cast unanimously agreed with Nessie’s pivot.
It seems that even in the realm of reality TV, there is a distinct preference for Kate over Meghan.
Karen Loderick-Peace chimed in, stating, “She would surprise people,” while Juliet emphasized their affection for Kate, saying, “We love Kate.”
In the wake of this lighthearted yet pointed banter, Meghan had a reason to celebrate.
Just as the interview aired, she launched a Christmas special episode of her Netflix series, “With Love, Meghan.”
