His relationship with the royal family flourished further as he and his wife Victoria attended not just one, but two royal weddings.

This invitation to the Sussexes’ wedding signaled a firm friendship between the two couples, but behind the scenes, matters took a different turn, as reported by The Mail on Sunday.
Beckham’s friendship with Prince William began when they bonded over sports; they met initially due to his role as President of the Football Association.
Their camaraderie was further solidified when they attended the London Olympics in 2012 and collaborated on England’s bid to host the 2018 World Cup.
Harry, on the other hand, had a longstanding connection with the Spice Girls, meeting them during a performance in South Africa.
His friendship with Beckham blossomed later, facilitated by his brother William.
The two became buddies, hitting up various hotspots, from raucous Las Vegas clubs to the prestigious Arts Club in Chelsea.
An incident at the Arts Club in 2016 involved a fallout between Harry and comedian James Corden, which Beckham had to mediate.
Although the atmosphere was tense due to a misinterpreted joke, Beckham’s diplomatic nature helped ease the conflict.
