Prince Harry’s ‘greed for money’ led to ‘disastrous decisions’ – Expert

In a candid interview, Tina Brown, who launched The Daily Beast and has long been a commentator on the royal family, has strongly criticized Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

She claims that their “thirst for money” has influenced them to make poor choices that could have dire consequences.

During her conversation with The Daily Telegraph, Brown, a close friend of the late Princess Diana and a respected voice on royal matters, expressed that Meghan’s recent television venture, With Love, Meghan, has earned her some scorn, leaving the Duchess looking quite out of touch.

Adding fuel to the fire, Brown pointed out the irony that Harry appears to long for his royal days, despite often looking like a “disaster tourist” while attempting to engage with serious events, like the recent wildfires in California.

Turning her attention to the future, Brown expressed her belief that Harry’s return to the royal fold is highly unlikely.

She reflected on the late Queen Elizabeth II’s graceful departure from life, highlighting her meticulous planning to ensure that her passing was free of chaos.

“She orchestrated everything,” Brown remarked, observing how the public was reassured by the orderly procession and the dignified manner in which her coffin was returned home.

She remarked on Princess Anne’s presence, underscoring the beauty of the moment during a bittersweet farewell.

Speaking of the new King, Brown noted, “Charles took over impeccably,” acknowledging his long preparation for this role.

In her view, the House of Windsor remains surprisingly stable amid ongoing tumult, contrary to public speculation of impending crises.

At the heart of her interview, which doubled as a promotional tool for her London journalism conference, Truth Tellers, Brown reflected on Harry’s absence from royal duties.

“There’s a Harry-shaped void in the royal family,” she said, lamenting how his absence leaves a dull spot amid the monarchy.

“Imagine the vibrancy he brought!” Brown exclaimed, suggesting that his presence could alleviate some of the pressure on Prince William and Catherine to maintain an image of perpetual perfection.

She believes Harry inherited his mother’s skill for connecting with people, which only underscores his current situation.

“Harry knows how to be a prince,” she opined.

Ironically, after initially dismissing royal life as dull and suffocating, Harry may now find himself missing the role he once held and excelled in.

Discussing Harry and Meghan’s humanitarian efforts post-wildfire, Brown was quick to agree with actress Justine Bateman’s assessment: “You become a disaster tourist.” She contended that their financial motivations had indeed led to poor decisions, making it hard for them to pivot back to a favorable situation.

Brown specifically called out their much-publicized book as a turning point, declaring the Oprah Winfrey interview as “gratuitously stupid.” While she feels that Harry would want to mend his estranged relationship with William, Brown believes that the wounds may be too deep for reconciliation.

As the conversation veered towards Meghan’s new ventures, Brown expressed frustration.

“She seems nearly compulsive about announcing new projects every week,” she said, suggesting that these frequent proclamations might be a public relations misstep, leaving Meghan looking foolish.

Despite her critical stance, Brown acknowledged her sympathy for Meghan’s plight, admitting that she appears to be somewhat adrift.

“Harry has so much potential; I genuinely hope he can reclaim a fulfilling life,” she concluded, leaving a note of hope amidst her critiques.
