Prince Harry is under Meghan Markle’s spell: ‘Totally whipped’

Amid ongoing fascination with the dynamics of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s marriage, royal analysts are buzzing, suggesting that Harry may be significantly influenced by his wife.

Nearly six years after their wedding, debates about their relationship remain a hot topic among royal insiders and experts.

Recent reports indicate that Meghan Markle never really intended to fully integrate into royal life, and this has led to the claim that Harry is “totally whipped” by her.

This assertion follows discussions involving royal biographer Phil Dampier, who revealed that Queen Elizabeth II had reservations about Meghan in the lead-up to their marriage.

Insiders noted that the queen perceived Harry as rather “weak” in his dealings with women.

During an appearance on “The Royal Exclusive” with The Sun’s Royal Editor Matt Wilkinson and Dampier, royal commentator Esther Krakue shared her perspective on Meghan’s integration into the British royal family.

“King Charles made a comment about Harry being whipped, and we hear consistent reports from those within royal circles suggesting significant influence from Meghan,” she explained.

Krakue then elaborated on the Queen’s shifting perspective regarding Meghan, which seemed to reflect the changing sentiments of the public.

Initially, the Queen viewed Meghan as a breath of fresh air—well-spoken and intelligent thanks to her acting background.

Krakue believes that, like many, the Queen was initially welcoming, but the relationship faced difficulties aligned with a cultural clash.

This clash between Meghan’s expectations and royal conventions seemed to play a crucial role in her challenges adjusting to royal life.

“Meghan may have envisioned marrying a billionaire but ended up with a millionaire who has a legacy of reduced royal status,” Krakue remarked.

Such realizations, she suggested, likely diminished the allure of royal life for Meghan over time.

Krakue went on to argue that Meghan appeared reluctant to adopt the slow and traditional path needed to earn respect within the monarchy.

“To navigate royal protocols effectively, you have to invest your time—just like opening schools under dreary skies in Wales before becoming an adored figure,” she noted.

Contrary to this, Meghan seemed to embody a distinctly American can-do spirit rather than a reserved approach.

Tension within the royal family appeared to rise, particularly between Harry and the Queen, in the weeks leading up to the 2018 wedding.

Journalist and royal biographer Sally Bedell Smith revealed that Elizabeth’s late cousin, Lady Elizabeth Anson, conveyed to her that Harry had excluded the Queen from wedding plans, which left her upset.

This scenario painted a picture of a royal family grappling with underlying strains.

Reports indicate that the Queen wasn’t only concerned about Harry’s choices but also about how Meghan and other royals interacted.

According to Smith, Elizabeth felt there were issues between Meghan and Kate, particularly worrying about the rapport between the two women.

As the wedding date approached, the Queen began to question Meghan’s intentions.

By that time, Meghan had reportedly transformed from being sweet and thoughtful to bossy—a change that alarmed the monarch.

Allegedly, this behavior made Elizabeth cautious about whether the former “Suits” star truly loved Harry or was merely pursuing a strategic plan, as revealed in conversations with Anson.

While the royal family continues to experience tension, Harry appears to be seeking some form of reconciliation.

In an April interview with the BBC, he reflected on his strained relations with royal relatives, admitting that while there had been multiple disagreements, he had ultimately chosen to forgive them.

In the swirl of opinions from royal commentators, one thing is clear: the public remains captivated by the relationship between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Time will reveal whether they find a path forward, or if the cultural and royal expectations will continue to push them apart.
